Autumn colours hiking trip in Koli

Attention! Unfortunately the hiking trip to Koli has been cancelled this year, (12.9.2020) due to the coronavirus epidemic.

32nd Autumn Colours hiking trip to Koli. Saturday 12.9.2020

We depart from Joensuu city center, Kirkkokatu bus stop. (In front of the Art Museum.)

9:00 Kopravaara
9:20 From Kopravaara to Hotel Koli
10:00 Hiking begins

We gather up at Kopravaara (Koli Freetime) at 9:00, from there we move together to the Hotel Koli.

You can choose between two routes, both of them are guided:
Ikolanaho-Jero-Verkkovaara-Kopravaara about 13 km.
Mäkrä-Ikolanaho-Jero-Verkkovaara-Kopravaara about 16 km.

Short break is at Ikolanaho, take your own snacks with you, if needed.
Longer break is at Verkkovaaras fireplace, where we will have sausages, juice, coffee and something sweet like biscuits.
Sauna is warm in Kopravaara Koli Freetime from 14:00 (take your own swimming suit and towel with you).
Soup dinner is served at Koli Freetime in between 15:00 - 17:00. If you want vegatarian food, please mention it in advance, preferably when you sign up for the trip.

The bus back to Joensuu leaves from Koli Freetime at 17:00.
Price for the day is 35,00 € for each person (includes transports, sausages etc. at fireplace, soup lunch and sauna).
Sign up by the latest day, thursday 12.9.2019! When signing up, mention the names of everyone who is participating with you.

You need good hiking shoes, something to drink (water preferred) and if you want, Nordic walking poles!
